Music Ministry at Trinity Luther Church in Oklahoma City
The goal of the Trinity Lutheran music ministry is to help create an environment that helps open the hearts and minds of the congregation to the Word of God. Through psalms, special music, and performances by our choir and bell choir, Trinity hopes to make a joyful noise to the Lord and share our gifts with those around us.

The Instruments of Trinity Lutheran Church
Trinity Lutheran has a longstanding connection between our congregation and the music ministry. Over the course of the church’s history, several congregation members have gone above and beyond with their dedication to the music for our church, and assisted in providing us with the instruments you see every week.
Choir at Trinity Lutheran Church
The choir at Trinity is small but mighty! The choir is directed by Katrina Randolph. The singers perform anthems each month, and traditionally perform a cantata during the Christmas Eve and Easter services. No prior choral or sight-reading experience is necessary in order to sing in the choir. Music ranges anywhere from 2 to 4 parts (Treble/Bass or Soprano/Alto/Tenor/Bass divisi) and rehearsals meet on Wednesdays at 7:30 PM. Singers will receive a reminder text prior to the rehearsals.

Welcome to Bell Choir!
The bell choir at Trinity is led by Bob Cooper. Ringers will perform a piece each month, and will also perform at the Christmas Eve and Easter services, where they alternate with the choir. No prior music or sight-reading experience is necessary to participate. Rehearsals are currently scheduled on Wednesday’s from 6:45 PM to 7:30 PM.

Meet Pastor Roger
Pastor Roger Bruns has served Trinity Lutheran Church for 14 years, leading the congregation in ministry to our neighborhoods through the Sharing Tree, disaster response after the 2013 tornadoes, camping ministry, an expanded music ministry with two outstanding musicians on staff, a new pipe organ, grand piano, harpsichord, and refurbishment of the sanctuary.
Earning degrees from University of Nebraska, Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN, and St. John’s University, Collegeville, MN, Pastor Roger is committed to proclamation of God’s changeless Word and the celebration of the Sacraments within a community of faith, forgiveness, and compassion. That’s why he loves Trinity and its people.
